Nov 30, 2015- Tension flared up in Nepalgunj after cadres of the agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) clashed with security personnel at Jamunaha border of Banke district on Monday evening.
Sporadic clashes ensued after police tried to remove the protesters who were staging a sit-in at the border crossings as part of their ‘blockade’ programme demanding various amendments in the recently promulgated new constitution.
